Welcome to my web site. If you're interested in areas like consciousness, altered states of consciousness, dreams, Gurdjieff, hypnosis, meditation, mindfulness, personal growth, parapsychology, transpersonal psychology, or how to be both a scientific person and a spiritual seeker, there's good quality material here for you.

The primary things you will find here are the full texts of papers I've published, mostly in scientific journals, that I think are of general, not just special, interest. If you're not a scientist don't be scared off by the fact that they've been published in scientific journals--I've worked hard to learn to write in clear English, in spite of the fact that it's gotten me in trouble in the academic world. ("Don't give him a promotion, his book is too readable, it can't be of real scholarly value." Yes, that actually happened...)

On the other hand, the fact that most of the stuff here has first been published in a scientific journal means you have some assurance of quality, for such publication means at least one trained editor and two scientist referees thought it was sound and interesting enough to be worth publishing.
